Breakfast was 2 eggs, one piece of sausage, and two pieces of whole wheat toast with margerine. That alone was 15 points. Then I REALLY blew it for lunch. I had an OB appointment and didn't get out of there until lunch time. I was STARVING. And there it was. Staring me in the face. ARBY'S. I was weak. I backslid. I partook in the most heinas thing a weight watchers member can partake in. A ROAST BEEF SANDWICH and SEASONED CURLY FRIES!!! Yikes . . . Ronnie's going to kick my butt . . . I deserve it too. Uuuugh . . . That's okay, though. I won't think about it just now. I'll think about it tomorrow. After all, TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY.

There's always tomorrow :)
I'm thinking you meant gyn appt, unless there's something you're not telling us...Jamie was there today, too-do you still see the same one who delivered Emily?
LOL - yes I ment gyn, LOL. I'm so used to saying OB . . . No, I haven't seen the one that delivered Emily since he needlessly cut me open . . sorry, do I sound bitter there? LOL. I'm going to Dr. Smith again.
Ok Scarlett. Tomorrow is another day. Jen, you can do this. Im behind ya girl. Love you!
Don't let a bad day derail you; it's just one day.
If you would like some pointers on how to slim down that breakfast, but still feel satisfied, I'll be happy to give you some ideas that work for me. I've been doing WW for a while now, and am 20 lbs down (40 to go - ugh!)
Stay with it!
Nena, I would LOVE pointers!
Thank you Jamie! Love you too!
Yay, I love it when someone lets me share! I've been at this for so long, I've learned a lot through trial, error, re-trial, success...repeat!
Breakfast is the greatest meal to shave points from, because you can have almost the same thing as you had this morning for less than HALF the points. Example:
1 egg + 1 egg white (2); 1 piece Morningstar Farms Vegetarian Sausage (don't scoff; they're good) (1); 2 slices Healthy Life Light Whole Wheat bread, toasted (1), sprayed with I Can't Believe it's Not Butter (0). You could add some sugar free jelly to that toast, too, for (0) points.
That's practically the same thing you listed on your blog today, but for 4 points instead of 15; and believe me, it will keep you full until lunch. Now you have more wiggle room for lunch, snacks, and dinner. Plus, soy (MSF Sausage) has lots of health benefits, especially for women.
BTW, I'm Vel (Velvetnan) from the WW 30s board. Just so you know that I didn't appear out of nowhere... :-)
