What's Ezekiel french toast? I hate being out of the loop!
I was wondering about the exekiel french toast, too. I'm intrigued!
This is a great idea. I figure out our dinners for the week before grocery shopping, since the hubby eats breakfast & lunch at the cafe at work and the girl eats lunch at school. I have to fight her to take a vitamin and drink a glass of milk before school. I really only have to worry about MY food!
Hey ladies! Okay, Ezekiel 4:9 bread - it's a sprouted grain bread made from wheat, millet, flax, and other grains. The sprouting of the grains adds protein and ups the fiber content. It's sold frozen, and you usually keep it frozen. I'm not fond of it thawed, but once it IS thawed I love it toasted or made into french toast. It's SUPER dense, chewy, and a little nutty. You can get it at most health food stores, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, United . . . Most of those places have it too.
I'll post the recipe for it and the balsamic berries soon! :-)
Haaa! I wish I had enough savvy to plan and adhere to a weekly menu. Good for you! Visiting from SITS!
everything sounds yummy!
happy sits day! :)
